The Boring Table
Fall 2024
White ash, walnut oil.
46” x 19” x 16”
Wood was sourced from white ash trees cut in Montreal to halt the spread of the emerald ash borer beetle, hence the name, “Boring Table.” Designed and fabricated with Caome Aggus and Findlay Starritt, with help from Concordia wood shop technicians Liz Xu and Tom Simpkins.
This table was awarded the Prix ADIQ (Association des Designers Industriels du Quebec) at Concordia University’s 2025 year-end exhibition.
